A Clockwork Orangeby glodaComment: One of my top three choices for ribbons in this challenge. It is exceptionally well done. Composition, color, lighting and shadow are all excellent. Great job. A nice setup for this shot. Message edited by author 2005-01-20 10:03:45. |

The Perfect Storm by marboComment: Congrats on the blue. I like when photographers post their originals. It is more instructive than anything else and always proves that proper post processing turns an already good image into an award winner. Btw, I like the comet shots in your portfolio. |

Shipwrackby asijComment: Great shot, especially the darkness in it. This reminds me of images I have seen of the ecological disater created in the Black Sea of Russia because of a poorly conceived irrigation project during the communist rule there. It is dark and brooding and might even have been better as a black and White. No matter, I like it a lot. |

Flightby Dim7Comment: You were fortunate enough to capture the perfect placement against the soft background. Incredible image. |

Monsoon Over Missionby f-32Comment: What an excellent, excellent B&W capture of San Xavier del Bac! Even the blurring of the foreground vegetation works well with this composition. I took pictures there last month after the scafolding completely covered the west dome but your shot is far superior to mine. I look forward to the completion of the restoration and having the White Dove of the Desert shining once again. I gotta get one of those Arizona Highways type night views. :) |
