A complicated 8 sec exposure.
Set up two strobes. Open lens and fire strobes manually. This captures face and extended times allowd the christmas lights to be recorded. Wife then lit the sparkler and surrounded me just as the shutter closes.

Funny, that's one of the movies I was thinking of doing, didn't get around to it. I love it, you do good work!

Daniel this was one of my tens and I very much thought it was yours when I first saw it. Thought it would place a lot higher. Great image!

Personally I was shocked not to see this ribbon. But the achievement is in the photo, not the ribbon. Good placement anyway. Beat me again! (Yes, I know that's not hard ;)

Great job. The slight blur of the hand is the tiniest bit distracting but otherwise excellent.

Appears to have been edited beyond what the basic rules allow, but I'm sure it's a trick that falls into the guidelines, so good job. And props on the Burt Reynolds look-alike. 10

Not sure how you pulled this off, but it certainly makes a great "Electric Horseman". Good job. (It almost looks as if a continuous fuse was burning around him).

Whoa. How'd you get the sparkler...lasso(?) in there?

Cool technique. I believe someone got a blue ribbon with it before. Minor blur on the hand holding the reigns. Cute Xmas lights :)

ALthough this is clever I find it somehow strangely 'tacky'. It makes me remember cheap secondhand western books from the penny market.

Sorry if that offends you in anyway, its not intended to be rude, just an honest reaction
