Isla Contoyby BaldurTComment: Overall the framing of this image with the palm trees is excellent. This image is begging to have something or someone in the foreground just left of the palm shadows as a main subject. Unfortunately, the post processing might have harmed the image more than making it more interesting. It also looks like the horizon is not quite level and high on the left side. |

Heartsby amsmythComment: This image has decent color contrast and composed well for the angle from which it is taken. Overall this is not a bad picture.
However, this would be more interesting if the flowers were taken from the side rather than from above. From above gives it more of a snapshot quality. It has background noise that should be removed. If you shot with a little more DOF the lower left flower would be in sharp focus. But if you have to make a choice then the closest flower to the camera is best to have in sharper focus rather than the stem just behind the flowers. Judicious use of dodge and burn would add more contrast and depth to the image which would make it more dramatic and interesting for the viewer.
The image, "Complements", in this challenge is a great example to learn from. |

Father Skyby ElGordoComment: Very dramatic cloud formation that is effectively presented. Wish you would have had a more interesting foreground for that sky. It still should be a top finisher and will make a perfect sky replacement for the right landscape image. |

Blue roseby nico_blueComment: This is one of the best images of the challenge. Very well done. Reminiscent of kosmikkreeper's blue ribbon winning image, "Nature's Spirals", from the three's challenge. I'd consider a slightly greater DOF and place the bud center just inside the lower left ROT intersection point like in jmsetzler's ribbon winning image image "Pianissimo".

Orchid Delightby grahampComment: Excellent color and framing. Even though it is a part of the blossom I'd recommend cloning out the skinny curly parts coming up from below the frame. They add nothing to the composition and they are distracting to this gorgeous shot. Still, this is one of the best images of the challenge. |

Prideby ergoComment: Great pose and good lighting on your model. I'm sure women will have no difficulty seeing the beauty in this one. Hormones will surely be released. LOL. The wall shadows are distracting as well as the darkened area on the left side of the image. I'd recommend positioning your model several feet in front of your background in order to soften the shadows so they do not compete with the model for attention. Despite that this is one of the best images in the challenge. |

Geometry in Steel by NeilComment: Congrats on your first ribbon. It is a beautiful shot. That Google maps satellite linking using natural language input for searching is really cool. I'd never seen that before. |
