Puca IVby rubienneComment: To me the cat doesnt fit. that cat is nice, and focused and while theres nothing particularly wrong the lighting and the shadows make me think of a private detective movie there should be a man with a trench coat and a fedora in teh background and a 50's brunette bombshell in place of the cat. its such a cool mood youve captured it seems almost wasted on the cat. not that i dont like them i have a few and i love cats. he/she just looks out of place to me. just my opinion. not trying to be rude. |

Misery Loves Companyby banmornComment: interesting take on flowers. whats cool to me is that they are obviously wilted yet they dont look like they are dying, (there isnt much discoloration around the petals) it gives it a really interesting feel. |

bottle-fly1322.jpgby BlueZamiaComment: this looks like one of the green challenge photos. it could use a bit more contrast i think. or something to make it pop. i do like the DOF though |

LeKiwiby hannekeComment: how in the world did you do this? seriously. im EXTREMELY intrigued. if you wouldnt mind posting the details or PM'ing me. i'd love to know.
Thanks for posting the details. im still a tad confused but i get the basics. it sounds tricky. think ill have to try it. yours looks so perfect though. great job. ;)
well it seems like the kiwi and lemon would have had to be similar in size and i thought kiwis were much smaller than lemons in general, can you make a layer larger to make the sizes comparable and then still merge it with another (if thats what you even did, maybe they were jsut similar sizes), and it fits so perfectly into the lemon rind did you have to hand draw the white of the lemon around it or was there an easier way? the whole thing is going to make my head explode. really. lol Message edited by author 2006-06-10 17:52:21. |

Eggsby ShecoyaComment: theres an odd line down the nose that distracts me but the setup, and composition are very interesting. im not sure why shed be doing that in what looks like a wedding dress so it makes me think. i like that. |

Dualby darnokComment: seems overexposed or too white. hurts to look at. the glass has lost its definition. and its slightly tilted to the left.these shots are always hard though because those few who do them often here on DPC do them so well that it makes you used to seeing perfection. |
