This Won't Hurt a Bit by Brent_SComment: Getting a ribbon is as easy as pulling teeth. Dentistry is painless these days. I had my first tooth pulled this year. The wide angle, almost fisheye adds to this efect. It's those EYES, they're really scary! |

Awakening by goinskiingComment: This is also like out of a Stephen King movie. Great cropping and duotone style. Nice fingernails :-)
See there can be some happy outcomes, even from nightmares.
Such as your first virtual ribbon, congratulations! |

Pennywiseby StagoleeComment: Truthfully I just saw the movie the first time about a month ago.
Also the first time I went right to the director's cut. I guess clowns can be scary, like this one is. They have never scared me, I laugh too much to take them seriously.
Imitation is flattery, it's not a crime at all. Some suggested I do a retake of my original nightmare challenge photo. It's done here all the time, there can be hundreds of variations.
The one in the movie IT also had fangs and sharp teeth. Good lighting and makeup. The eyes really lure meaning to this photo. I guess between the two of us, dpc has gotten its' "two-cents-worth" of "Penny-wisdom". |

caught by the boogeyman ! by rozComment: I gueass all people who eat meat or kill insects and rodents are part of this symbolic metaphor. Think of your poor victims. Eat or be eaten.
Reminds me of the old horror movie "Fly" and "Fly-II". Extreme sharpness and the red, a symbol of blood, really draw you to this nighmare themed photo. Scary, yet delicious for a fly. |
