Mill Town Morning - WK05by DJWoodwardComment: Smooth tones and precise focus attract the eye more often than not, you remind me. Technique cannot be overlooked. Although sometimes allowing chance to creep in to composing and taking a photo leads to a much more compelling shot. |

Week 05 - Focus.jpgby KenComment: Unobserved viewing is an art, yet it sometimes yields a good photo, you remind me. It is all in the mood of the moment, sometimes. |

Mission San Jose.jpgby RedDotComComment: The smell, the history, the silence, of subject are invisible, you remind me. To tell the viewer about such intimate things and what they mean to the camera-person is what photography is all about, you teach me with this photo. |

JessicaPortrait-33-V4.jpgby 777STANComment: Engage the subject, engage the viewer. You remind me that these two things are sometimes hard to do, but you achieve it partially with the young lady's smile. The personal first person relations vs the impersonal distant third person observation. To make those two things come together requires thought, so your photo suggests to me. |

Pretty Streamby VeioletsComment: White and white, simple geometric curves, make for an elegant composition which contains the elements of illustration, your photo reminds me. |

Americanaby VeioletsComment: I feel the door closed, the house in change yet not accessible. The porch is there slightly welcoming yet the house reveals little. I am reminded by your photo that each image has a slightly different psychological association for each viewer. The visual story can vary widely depending on ones state of mind. The lack of light bespeaks sadness. |

Week 3by bassboneComment: Shadows and light, often avoided in photography. Yet the harsh shadows can be used to reveal beautiful form on the beach, as in your photo. Simple as your photo is, there is something compelling in it. I learn from you to try and find that simple compelling image. |

Sunday Afternoonby tnunComment: You remind me that air space is sensual. To remove the space between the notes of music is what many musicians do. Yet when the beat is opened out, as in James Brown's music, the dancer can fit in better - same with visual arts. Let the viewer in. You did. I learn. |
