you have really brought out the grandeur of this set of old mill buildings - the shadows from the early february light gives this such a nostalgic feel - good work Del

Delightful, from the shadows on the road to the shadows across the buildings. Excellent to look at.

Nice crisp image and detail in the building in the foreground. I like the way the light falls across the building. I think lighting up the snow a bit would add a nice bit of contrast.

Some big shadows going on here :) Its kind of a bland scene but with your composition, tones and clarity it makes me want to spend more time there.

Very fine photo. You have conveyed the light on a winter day, and, as Color C said, made all the many elements hang together in the most natural way. Trees and tree shadows make this sing.

I like your composition. You got a lot into the shot without making it look too busy. I like the light and shadows on the buildings.

Very clean and crisp and a solid conversion. This would make a very good postcard or an excellent entry in a brochure about the town.

I like the shadows cast across the buildings. This probably looks good in color as well.

Smooth tones and precise focus attract the eye more often than not, you remind me. Technique cannot be overlooked. Although sometimes allowing chance to creep in to composing and taking a photo leads to a much more compelling shot.

Very nice, traditional (in a good sense) architectural shot.
