...for nuts!by SimmsComment: I never would have pegged this as a shoehorned shot! I think it meets the challenge quite well, and it's a great shot of a squirrel too! Love the autumn colors and the shallow dof. This was the the first challenge I've voted in a while, and this was one of my top picks. Congrats on the top 5! :) |

the Lost City by tateComment: Love the way the light is streaming towards the city in the background. Nice sky, and good to see that there aren't any big blown out patches of clouds. Something about the angle here makes the man feel squashed or stretched horizontally, but I can't quite figure out what it is. |

The Search for the Perfect Toyby timfythetooComment: So much to choose from! With such a busy background, it might have been helpful to choose a shirt which was a solid color... perhaps a yellow to stand apart from the background? Love the money in hand too, a nice touch. |

OK Now! Where did I put that leaf?by AlainComment: Title is a bit goofy and perhaps a stretch to connect to the challenge. But the shot is cute enough to stand on it's own between the leaf and the expression. |

The Majesticby clauderbaughComment: I like that you've chosen to leave just a bit of the wood where he was taking off from. Makes it more of a story of an event instead of just a bird flying in mid air, yet it's subtle and doesn't detract from the main focus. Very nicely done! |
