Too Soonby JuliBocComment: I'm glad you left this shot in for the challenge... definitely steps outside the boundaries of the typical DPC winning shots! I tacked an extra point onto my vote for you since you had the guts to enter this, knowing it probably wouldn't score well (which made this one of my top 2 rated shots)! I'm glad to see that others took the time to look past the initial unexpected blur and liked it as much as I did, but still disappointed to see it place where it did.
I do like the other watercolor version that you did, but for me it goes a bit too far. I think I'd maybe prefer something that is in the middle of the two versions? |

Laundryby MelethiaComment: I can't figure out what it is exactly that I love about this... but it's wonderful! So simple, yet I find so much to look at with the colors and shapes. I wish MY laundry looked that interesting! :) Very nicely done! |

Genie of the Lampby AlexSaberiComment: Fantastic! Great lighting to create the silhouette of the lamp and also to illuminate the face. Wonderful job! |

Let's leave bread crumbs to mark our trail back home.by JewellyComment: Nice depiction of the scene from the story... clothing is very appropriate and I like the muted and natural colors. Something about the processing feels off.. perhaps bumping the dark tones to be a bit darker would help? I picture the scene in a dark scary forest, and this seems a bit bright perhaps. |

Take Out #2by JerseyGenieComment: I thought this was the best of all the chopstick shots (by far!)...sad to see it in 25th place. I guess people just got tired of pencils as chopsticks? Very well set up, good colors. A bit more light, especially in that top corner may have been helpful, but as someone else mentioned, you don't want to blow out the details of the rice. Great job though, and congrats on the new PB! :) |

When the Cat's Away...by missykimComment: Technically, this may not be the best photo of the bunch, but it gets extra points for creativity and patience in the setup! Very cute! |

Chopsticksby DistantColoursComment: Love the mats which are also made from pencils, and the shavings in the bowls... great details! |
