I like the half - desaturated colors here... although I wonder how it might look with a bit more contrast? Or perhaps some burning and dodging in photoshop. Just a thought, but this is a good photograph. :)

I like the processing on this with the muted colors. It reminds me of the pictures in my childhood books. :) good idea

Nice depiction of the scene from the story... clothing is very appropriate and I like the muted and natural colors. Something about the processing feels off.. perhaps bumping the dark tones to be a bit darker would help? I picture the scene in a dark scary forest, and this seems a bit bright perhaps.

They don't look very cheery, and are pretty pale, besides. Kinf of old-fashioned coloring, I guess, but not bowling me over.
