Challenge: What is this Pencil? (Basic Editing)
Camera: Canon PowerShot A530

It was fun building all these things with pencils. However, I had to chop them up with a carpet knife. I used tin foil to make the slide. Swing set was made with thin wires and cardboard. Merry-go-round is cardboard, and colored with pencil crayons. And the sandbox is just cardboard lined with pencils and a little sand in the middle. Everything was glued together with hot glue.

Mice prefer to hide rather than take center stage, so this wasn't easy. These were a few of my boy mice. Left to Right: Samurai, Osaka, and Kabuki.

I don't expect to get much for this, but I had fun making it.

Technically, this may not be the best photo of the bunch, but it gets extra points for creativity and patience in the setup! Very cute!

Top marks for effort but the lighting is very harsh and I feel a better perspective would have helped (Down low from the mouse's height?)

Creative, and you sure spent some time putting this together. Did the mice appreciate it? Photo is a little overexposed in the highlights.

Wow, major set up. The lighting comes off a bit flat.

looks like you worked hard to make this little play set for the mice. I would have picked one thing (maybe the swing) and did a close up on it. If I didn't know the theme I would have no idea what you were trying to portray.

Oh my gosh! Lol - ha, ha, hah!!! Somebody has a good, fun imagination and loves those little mice. The flash is a bit too strong, but wow - so creative.

Wish the backdrop would have been a bit more solid, but still a valid cute photo.

I think there is a lot of creativity and work behind this picture. But this is not a creativity contest. It is all about the picture.

The composition is not bad, but the lighting is extremely flat. From the shadows in the picture, I suspect the use of flash. If this had been done with a softer flash, a fill light and a reflector or two, the quality of the picture would have been lifted dramatically.

Also, the background in this picture could have been made a bit more interesting. It is a shame to put so much work in a part of the picture and not go the whole distance.

Very creative idea and looks like a hard work. Like the composition too.
But I miss some more clarity and sharpness.

I love the level of effort put into this! I would imagine it is tough to get the critters to cooperate. I think a large detailed composition like this needs a larger canvas than 640 pixels.

You must have spent lot of time preparing this. The lighting is insufficient and some ugly shadows were created. I think a lower angle could have been better.
