Gate Lockby RolandBComment: I really like this one. I think a lot of people fail to recognise how great simply can be. This is a great composition. I think the average photographer would walk up and take a picture of the gate lock from right in front of it at about eye level. This perspective here was a great choice. Nice going. Santa Rosa Creek Road is a very nice drive.
Cheers,

Expectancyby anthonyczajaComment: Wow, this one could be really good with some advanced editing. I know you weren't allowed, but a little vignetting would really set this image up well I think. What a beautiful model. The lighting on her face is superb. I wish it was a little more sharp however. Nice going. |

Gianfranco Ferre Fashionby AnmitsuComment: Good idea! I just wish there was more contrast and something a little more colorful. The shadow is distracting as well. I think with some better lighting, you might have been able to pull this off. Good stab though. |

Simple fashionby TOYComment: Good shot. I think if his face had a little more light it would be better off. Nice pose and composition! |

Red Gloss..by CantaloopComment: This one is great. It belongs on some panteen ad or something. The model is a knockout. I think it would be slightly better if her shoulders were in focus as well. Very very nice picture though. Great composition and a beautiful model. One of the better ones I've seen so far in this challenge. |

Purple Formalby 4forfunComment: Well, she is certainly a beautiful model, I just think you could have done a little better metering the light. If her face was a little sharper it would help too. The wall is grey, so I think if you used a grey card here and metered off the card, you would have been able to get the wall to whiten up and this adding more contrast in the picture. The thing she's holding above her head is a little unidentifiable, so it might be taking away from the shot. I think if it were just her arms over her head it would be a far better shot. Anyway, nice attempt and try a little better light metering and lighting next time and a little more sharpness and I think you'll nail it. Nice going. |

American Grungeby adamwebComment: Well, I'm not sure if I like the dry spot on the shirt or not. I feel like it's taking something away simply because it is distracting, but at the same time it's unexpected, so it's interesting. Anyway, this is a good shot and I give you points for making your friend (or you) sit in a tub full of water with her clothes on. |

Strike a Poseby ChilibeanComment: Great shot, a little more sharpness would push this one into the next level. Good shot and beautiful model. |

Terpsichoreby dpjerryComment: Nice composition, great looking model, I just wish the eyes were a little sharper. There appears to be some slight blurring. All in all, still a very nice shot. |

Loch-Lomond.jpgby TallblokeComment: Very cool shot. Good composition. I wonder how a fill flash would have done from right here. I think it might have been cool to throw a little light on the tree. I also think the horizon just might be tilted ever so slightly from left to right. Other than that, this is a very interesting shot. It's one of those ones you need to look at for more than a second. I like it when the longer you look at a photograph the more interesting it becomes.
I did notice a verticle line come from one of the tree branches on the right. It appears like it might be a piece of wire or something hanging from the tree. This is great. It adds more interest to the picture. What is it for? Was it for hanging a bird feeder, wind chime? Anyway, cool shot.
