Day 1 - Where I Workby SweetlittlepixieComment: Nice shot of where you spend your days; I agree a lower f-stop to sharpen things up might be nice, but it definitely tells the story. |

Museum.JPGby RetroesqueComment: Post processing so far is being the death of me, Lisa, so I feel for you on that one, and won't add to what the people who know about such things have already said. I like the angles and the lines in this shot a lot, and the shadows add to that. Nice composition! |

DAY 1 . where i live ... i feel like a voyeur!!by rozComment: I really like this, and I'm totally jealous of what you can do with post-processing; I'm still learning (and honestly don't enjoy that as much as "making" the image), but I would have chucked this one! I'm so glad you didn't, it turned out really good! |

PlaneSunSetby AliciaComment: Nice shot, great colors, and definitely makes me jealous, too; my sunsets are always broken up by high tension power lines in my southeastern view.
I think I would have cloned out the plane; it's a neat conversation piece, but it doesn't do much for me in the picture itself, which is really nicely composed and shot. |

Day 1by karmatComment: This is an amazing shot; the steam criss-crossing, the jet trails higher up (at least that's what it looks like to me), the very crisp lines. I really like it (if you couldn't tell already). |

Louisville Day 1by KatmystiryComment: I love the high angle here, it makes for a really nice effect and gives a perspective on the building I'm sure a lot of people in Louisville have never seen. I'm jealous, though; not only are there no buildings where I live with a 24th floor, there are no others that are larger to take pictures of! |

Day one - Coal Countryby xXxscarletxXxComment: Great shot; this is definitely something I'm going to need to learn to do (selective desat); what a great effect. Message edited by author 2007-02-01 16:31:10. |

Framedby cloudsmeComment: This didn't work for me on the whole; I wasn't sure about the minimalist intent with the use of a non-minimalist image as its focus, or what was being said; good use of lighting on the frame and the wall, though some of the shadows (to the left of the frame) are maybe a bit harsh. |

Lonely Journeyby FromacComment: Not sure what is going on here, though I like the concept a lot; many white spots (not sure what caused them), and generally unattractive lighting for my tastes (mostly greys). |
