Better technical qualities -- exposure, contrast, etc -- and this would rate highly. I like what's been found (good eye) and the textures (shadow/light).

Not sure what is going on here, though I like the concept a lot; many white spots (not sure what caused them), and generally unattractive lighting for my tastes (mostly greys).

The shadow patterns are very interesting, and the sparkle on the snow is nice. But it seems a little out of focus.
