Yellow in actionby mariegbeveComment: the background is not good for a shot like this.. and as you see taking this indoors, forces you to use flash .. and looks likeyou are using on camera flash which doesn't give required results. You might like to take it outside with some green grass and the sky and you won't even need flash there and more clarity in the photo in general |

Cloudless Feastby umbrisComment: Looking at the shot, I think you need more DOF to keep the petals also in focus. As you background (sky ) is well all plain/simple and far away you can possibly keep the whole foreground in focus |

Radiateby nico_blueComment: To be honest, I don't see much yellow or how yellow leads to the impact.. the part that's supposed to be yellow looks a little green.. hmm my monitor looks calibrated, but still i don't see how its yellow.
As for the shot : good capture.. I would like to see a little more sharpness in the bud..somehow it looks a little smudged...did you crop too much ? It has some noise on the left/bottom corner which you might like to reduce. the lighting is good. Overall 6 |

Abandoned Brothel - Nevada's Ghost Townsby KDOComment: this photo seems to have a lot of potential. first you can reduce some noise.. and well when converting to black and white, try to increase the contrast.... also a little on the low key would do great.. just my suggestions... |

Mangoby biggood53Comment: the lighting is very harsh.. try to diffuse the light falling on the subject....no no you don't always need a softbox. you can just use any piece of white cloth to cover your lamp and get a good diffused light. I have used it on $5 lamps and it works |
