 I don't expect this to do very well, and I'm guarenteed to get at least 5 "Needs a wider DoF" or "Too much out of focus" comments, however I really like the effect the narrow DoF creates. Detail is shown in the page corners where it's necessary, and then it fades out into a nice wash of yellow colours.

The blurriness of the words really detracts from the effect, though I like the focus on the individual pages.

I think this one has a lot of potential, but I would like to see more of the word "yellow", although not necessarily more of it in focus. Just a little more of the word.

Nice idea, but the extreme closeup and very short DOF cause me to lose sight of the subject of this shot.

i'd preffer it if more of the "yellow" in yellowpages was in focuc, its a bit distracting as it is, but its a nice image and i really like the lighting
