that is one weird looking dude. did you find him there, or did you put him there? did you think it was your lucky day when you found him? the lighting and shadows are fine by me, as is the dof. i'm enjoying the negative space, as well. good luck!

Very nice. I like the composition and the colors (yellow and others). Great capture - was the caterpillar moving or did it stop and pose for you?

DoF should be e little wider, but an excellent capture just the same.

Looking at the shot, I think you need more DOF to keep the petals also in focus. As you background (sky ) is well all plain/simple and far away you can possibly keep the whole foreground in focus
