White Mazeby Spork99Comment: Yarn. I would like to see a bit more detail in the threads, but i understand this must be terribly difficult to shoot. |

Yellowby DiComment: There's an inconsistancy: The subject pulls my eye to the section where the dough/stuff is pulling apart, but the DOF trying to pull my eye to the upper right hand corner. and the lighting seems to yank my eye to the bottom right. It seems to me that if you get all these elements to work together, then they'll combine forces and make this image awesome. IMHO |

Abstract macroby william88Comment: For some reason, i feel like i've seen this image somewhere before. Is this similar to a previous image/challenge? In any-case, nice execution. |

In the brassby TrollManComment: It seems the DOF is shallow for no apparent reason. The DOF draws my eye to the circular area on the right but once my eyes land there, there's nothing very cool to see (relatively speaking). For this image i think a nice wide DOF would work nicely so that we can see the detail in the entire frame and perhaps to add some dynamics, add a lens vignette. my 2 cents |

Lockjawby graphicfunkComment: This image has a subject but could use some sharpness and a tighter crop. That's the beauty of Macro Photography to me... being able to see textures that ordinarily unnoticed. |

The Glass Eyeby lkn4truthComment: I would like to see the subject in sharp focus. It seems that the bottom of the bead is nt quite in focus but a USM sharpening utility was used to recover the sharpness, but nothing replaces a nice wide DOF. I do like the color scheme though. Good job. |
