Ok, now I have camera envy!

I don't think you needed to use a 30 second shutter speed and if you really REALLY wanted to use that long of a shutter speed, I would have backed the ISO down to 100 or 200. Also, switching to manual focus and setting your focus prior to clicking the shutter would have made this more sharp.

I took my all time best shot at night using those settings, if you care to take a look.
But hey, I didn't finish much higher than you in this challenge so I hope my "advice" is taken in the spirit of which it is intended! :-p

What an awesome kitty! You can tell you are a true animal lover! Bandit should meet my flat faced calico, Callie sometime! She sat for the Portrait challenge for me a while back. I chopped off part of her ear in the photo but redid the shot with all of her. People think she is pretty but the vet says she looks like Oscar the Grouch! I think she is UNIQUE!
