A Legend's Throneby RulerZigzagComment: I like where you were going with this and really like the editing. If only that foreground business wasn't so busy... Anyway, 5.05 is a travesty! |

...as soon as she bit the apple, she sank into unconsciousness...by booboo_goonComment: very clever, superbly composed, and great use of DoF. I rather like the apple looking old, makes it seem like some time has elapsed since she took the bite. But that means shes been lying there dead for a while, maybe thats a little morbid... but i digress... really cool shot, but I think you may have turned off some voters by getting a little bit too grungy/grainy with your editing... its hard to make that work with the DPC crowd.. |

now and into the futureby grigrigirlComment: Originally posted by grigrigirl: Originally posted by AP: this is a lovely shot that is rife interpretive potential. I'd be curious to know whether it is staged? |
It is staged in the sense that I had the couple stand at this spot during their engagement session. Some things cant be staged. I had no idea the older couple was walking hand in hand in the background until I started editing. Are their emotions during this moment staged? I did not instruct them to appreciate each other, to be in love, to close their eyes, to hug or for him to place his head on hers. Life happens and I snap the shutter anyway. |
awesome :) |
