 Well......it started SNOWING here. I was waiting all week to shoot outside and it was RAINING all week. I was so happy with the snow. I wonder if Dr. Achoo will recognize this photograph since I now only live about a mile away from him. I moved 900 miles recently, and now we are neighbors. Small world.

Post Processing included:

crop
reduce noise
history brush on the face and hair after reduce noise
healing brush to face to smooth
dodge eyes and eyelashes
healed brushed a bit of skin on her wrist
dodged the snowflakes to brighten....did not add any
changed the hue of the background to blue/purple
save for web


I think this looks very fairy tale(ish). I wanted to go to the woods but I was so afarid it would stop snowing and began raining again.....So this is just my backyard.

I love the contrast of the white and the blue hues. Great capture. The expression is excellent on the model's face as well. The eyelashes might be a bit much for me, but that is tremendously nitpicky. Great job.

this should be near the top! My only critique would be that the whole outfit was in the frame as it would complete the triangle shape from the top of her outfit leading you to her face. good luck, only a small nitpick. :)

I think you have a winner here! One thing just for future... ther'es a rule of thumb that you should cut off subjects just above joints. If you're going to show below the knees then you ahve to show the feet. If you're going to show below the elbow then you have to show to the ends of the fingers. If you're going to crop a person, crop at the shoulders, hips, etc. I do find I'm looking for the feet - the opposite crop would be just below the hips to make it work. 9
