No chicks were harmed during the filming of this movie (but one tongue got nipped).

Good idea and nice capture. It's not easy to freeze the moment for the photo. I like the crop because the row of logs adds to the picture (it is, after all, the bed). I tighter crop would have been about a bear growling. Instead, you have a bear waking up. The story gets told doing it your way. Nice photo.

I don't know what to make of this photo. I like the tight crop and agree with those who think that the eyes should have been better featured (I've done the same thing, so now I recognize it.) The blue is a bit jarring, but I suppose that is the point. As rhythm goes, the pattern is all drums to me. : )

"Critique Trading Post Comment"

This is superb! The angle, light, detail, and dramatic upsweep of the building all work so well together. Use of light is especially notable. I have absolutely nothing negative to say, or even suggestions for improvement. Your top ten finish is clearly warranted!

I love the use of perspective and vanishing point in this photo, as well as the colors. What is most creative is the title and its application to the shot. I would not have understood the significance otherwise. (I don't think you used USM too much, either.) This is a 6 for me.

Critique Trading Post Comment.

It's an honor to be in the same critique trading group as a certifiable blue ribbon winner. So... my critique... "FLAWLESS"

(i'm not worthy to critique this image) ; )

Beautiful colors, especially when contrasted by the dark tree trunks. I also like the perspective provided by the turn in the road and the vanishing point. I also like the back lighting. I would have scored this higher than the average voter.
