Train, parked. They don't stay there long, though. Post processing includes adjustment of temp in raw, then hue/sat, brightness/contrast, levels, USM, resize, bit more USM (maybe too much).

I like this image, composition is good and it's crisp and clear, the focus is good, it has some nice colors, and overall a nice image.

I like the composition and colour of this image. This is one of the kinds of pictures I really like: distant vanishing point, with almost a lonely kind of feel to it. Nicely executed. If you think it has too much USM, you can try to reduce the "haloeing" effect of USM by slowly increasing the threshold.

hello again,

nice idea. i think the only problem (but a big one) is that the cars vanishing point is out of the picture. you force me to leave it. like telling me dont look at my pic. lol.

everything else is great. sky is good. train is good. tracks are good. i mean very well done except you told me to leave.

Very nice, and one of the better rhythm shots in my opinion. The composition is terrific, and I do feel drawn deep into the photo. The shot is nicely crisp, and I also do not believe that the USM is too much. I would like to see the sky a deeper blue, perhaps with a CP filter during the shot. Nice work, as well seen.

This is a well-executed, clear, crisp image. I like how the the eye is drawn from the top left corner, right across the composition to the vanshing point halfway up the photo.
The converging lines are very effective, its very much helped by the empty rail in front of the train. I don;t know if you used a polarizer here, but if not then one could have really helped to bring out the clouds, which would echo the white graffiti which stands out a lot.
Everything is technically good, fwiw I don't think you used too much USM.
Meets the challenge well, and I like the title. The rhythm works in many ways, with the vertical lines along the trucks, the lines of the
sleepers along the track, and the converging lines bringing it all together.

Nice shot Deb. This may have done better in a lines challenge. The angle and depth of this shot work really well. The colors are nice as well. Not sure what you could do to improve this. In advanced editing some spot saturation would have worked out well I think.

This is a nice clean shot. I really don't think you USM-ed it too much, it seems just right to me. I think the angle is a bit off & perhaps the use of both the train tracks & the train competes with one another as the focal point as both have distinct repeating patterns.

First let me say that you deserved a much higher score for this. Great perspective! I love the way it just vanishes into the sky. The colors are perfect. Great title tie in too. I would have given this a 9.

You have done an excellent job with everything I see here - composition, color, exposure, processing, and so on. I think your score only suffered because the subject isn't intensely interesting.

I love the use of perspective and vanishing point in this photo, as well as the colors. What is most creative is the title and its application to the shot. I would not have understood the significance otherwise. (I don't think you used USM too much, either.) This is a 6 for me.

I love the leading lines in this. and the interest that the bright blue, with artwork, gives in contrast to the rest of the rusty old train cars. I think this is a very appealing photo!
