Fishby TiberiusComment: The fly and sand add a lot to this shot. I like the DOF and the border sets it off well. I know there\'s been a lot of flak about this shot but I think it was tastefully done. The sand and coloring helped with that. |

Alone in the Forestby Firstrich1Comment: The dark sillouhette against the blue sky emphasizes the feeling of alone-ness. I wish the clouds in the bottom weren't there but withoiut spot editing I don't suppose you had much choice. :) Nice work. |

Alone Againby patriciabrown2001Comment: I think the raw gritty feel to this one helps communicate desolation. The wall on the back is harsh and normally I'd comment that its overexposed but it fits here. This piece evokes emotion and tells a story. |

Catching the last busby kostiaComment: Personally this communicates desolation to me well. Creative shot. I think I'd like to see less trash....just leaves and the bus schedule. The yellow and white pieces of paper I find detract from the image. |
