Wow I can't believe people didn't relate this to the challenge. I gave this a 9. Maybe some people need to turn the brightness up on their monitors. What about the reflection in the glass??

Recital

Personally I liked everything about this shot, including the beds others didnt care for. Most children practice their instruments in their bedroom so I found the setting perfect.

I could just see a child practicing away while looking out the window dreaming of his or her recital. This photo told more of a story than any other in the challenge. Personally I think it should have been top 15 easy. :)

My Uncle Miguel

I think a better title might have been simply "Miguel." You captured the emotion well. He looks as though he's just lost his wife or someone else who was very important to him. The left part of the photo is overexposed.

Simple but powerful image. The lighting feels a bit dark or "flat" and I'd suggest trying a slightly different angle that shows more of the monument.

The haunted house at the end of the world

I would prefer a shorter title. Perhaps just "Haunted House." The primary emotion I feel when looking at this shot is lonliness. How did a house in such a prime location go to waste? What was it like before? This photo makes me ask a few questions and feel a peaceful meloncholy all at once. I think it fit the challenge well.
