Desertby JackoComment: It looks like the surface of the moon. I think it would've been a more effective pic to put the little tree or branch not so prominently in the foreground. A subtle change to the composition but maybe very effective in terms of mood. The camera angle could also help. It'd be interesting to see from sand level looking up at the stick. Good Luck - Inspzil |

Southeast of Nyeby BadPiggComment: This looks like a good candidate for a polarizer. With a blue sky, this would be a contender. The crop, the angle, the colors of the land are great. But with the sky stark white, it loses a lot of appeal. Very good shot in any event. I wish I had something like this to shoot. I may have even entered - Inspzil |

Waterfallby sulamkComment: Its picturesque, its nice, but it seems like its missing something compositionally. Maybe a little wildlife or maybe just a little color. Nicely taken and I bet it isn't hard to make this look good. - Inspzil |

Serenityby lykofosComment: This appears at least to be rotated clockwise a couple of degrees. I'm finding of late my pictures of the river where I work are looking that way (when I know they are level) due to shoreline conditions and perspective of the shot. - Inspzil

Under The Bridgeby greenem2Comment: Critique Club by Inspzil
Composition - I really like the colors of this image. You took this pic at a great time. The lighting is excellent really bringing out the colors. The thing I notice most about this picture is the arch of the pier. It could be used to frame the stuff behind it. I think this would help in a couple of ways - First, it narrows the field of view which might bring a stronger focal point forward. Secondly, I think switching it from portrait to landscape orientation will make it feel more natural. I think there is too much unnecessary stuff in the frame. I inspect these kind of bridge beams for a living. I like to see them, but it isn't necessary for this picture.
Photography - Exposure is great. The lighting had to be good there. The colors are awesome. The framing is the only thing that I would change about the whole picture. The rest of it is great.
Processing - Nothing is standing out, so that's good
Overall - This is a pretty good picture with a lot of potential to be much better. And I don't think it would take too much. Maybe even just a tighter crop and switching from portrait to landscape. Hope this helps a little. I enjoyed the shot. - Bob |

Okay.... Who Brought The Ball?by autoolComment: Great capture. Too bad there's so much stuff in the background. Really well done though. I like how they are mostly facing the same way - Inspzil |

Night & Dayby gps_01Comment: The first thing I think of when I look at pictures in terms of voting is, "Could I see this hanging on my wall?" This has some great colors, but it needs rotating a little and there really isn't much in terms of composition, but the colors. - Inspzil |

Free as a Bird.by davehugeComment: Sun is a little bright, even when left intentionally bright. Good concept of a photo though. I'm not sure I like the land in the foreground. - Inspzil |
