Good artistic photo. The DPC community won't see it the same way though.

One of my top 3. 10 from me. The only thing that I don't like is the different color border. But that is me and I am not taking away for that. Beautiful shot keep up the good work.

Nice work however I think you can improve this if you would have left the color there. I think changing to b/w and leaving the blues hurts this more than helps it. 7 anyway.

Edit: spelling

Nice photo. I love the long exposure time. To me probably one of the best in this challenge. You have a nice neutral background and everything is in good focus here. Night shots in my opinion are always difficult to accomplish dead on and you have done this. As far as edits I don't know what all you have done as the voting is still going while I am commenting on this. I also relly like the reflection on the wet road. Only two things I see that bother me is how you cropped on the right so close to the building. Also the specs I see in the photo. This could be dust specs on your lense and it really hurts it. If it had not been for the dust specs I would have given you a 10. Giving you a 9 anyway.

I said road that is water. Excellent job editing. Congrats on the ribbon. When I saw this I was for sure it would ribbon. My highest scorer in this challenge. Once again congrats.

Initial Impact: I like the sun in this although it is a little overexsposed. The tree is lacking in detail but is composed well.

Composition: Is good although the horizon is slightly unlevel. Level the horizon and you have a well composed image.

Sharpness: The tree is the main focal point and is in good focus however a longer DOF would improve this dramatically. See how the water is not in good crisp focus. A longer Depth of Field should put the water and waves in good focus and improve the initial impact.

Overall: Overall this is a good image. The yellow border does nothing for the photo and you can improve it a lot by getting rid of it(IMO). The horizon is unlevel and that takes a lot away from the photo. I would like to see more detail in the tree and bushes to the right.

Upon first look I didn't see your face. Now I do. I like the fact that you have to look hard to see your face. You have done a nice job with editing and with the desaturation. Nothing looks blown out. The only problem I see is the border gets lost on your left elbow. But that is a minor flaw. At first look I didn't like the reflection on the binoculars but the longer I look at it the beeter I think it is with the reflection. Some will see the background as a bit busy but to me it helps your photo of course. I noticed in your notes that you cloned out some debris on your sleeve. You have also done a nice job with that because I can't tell where it was. If you have any questions don't hesitate to PM me.

You have given me a hard one to comment on. I normally don't like abstracts but this one looks good. I like how you have set the lines kinda at a slight diagonal. It is a very bright color. I also like the border. To me it offsets the red in a good way. Job well done.
