The colors in this are interesting, but I keep trying to figure out what the connection is between the poster and the pregnant figurine. It feels like I'm missing something. Perhaps Dr. McGillicuddy Schnapps increases fertility?

I think Mom has a pretty nice expression and you've got decent focus, but the flash is too harsh, especially with the totally black background. She looks a tad startled.

It's a nice compostition and fits the challenge, but not sure about the artwork representation. Would be nice also with the face highlights burned a little (dodged? I get those confused - whatever highlighting is :-)

I'm not fond of the color cast here, and it seems like there's a lot of emphasis on the painting more than the beautiful great-grandmother, at least with the color. The lamp is also distracting for me. It's a wonderful pose of the great-grandmother, though and I'm sure she will love this. You're making me miss my great-grandmother.

The light is really fantastic in your photo. It glows. Beautiful colors, too. For me, the border color is too muddy - would be interested to see how an all black border (or none) looks.To continue with my input - but please take this with a grain of salt. It may have been nearly impossible to get rid of the canoe, but it makes the image seem cluttered. My eye wants to rest on the awesome trees to the right and their reflections. On the other hand, maybe you intended for the canoe to be the subject, in which case the trees clutter the canoe. Hope you get what I mean - this is a nice image.
