Ragged by TychoComment: I would have never thought of using timed exposure for a shot like this. You learn something new everyday at DPC. Well done on your red ribbon. |

Cascading by samtrundleComment: Just an amazing shot very well done. I have to learn to take waterfalls with time exposure. I guess snap shots just dont quite cut it. |

Out of Stone by e301Comment: The post processing on this shot is excellent. I so wish you would write a tutorial on how you got from the shot image to this one especially the sky I've been really struggling with skies in many of my shots. I just can not seem to grasp that. Well done on the third place. |

Hawkeyed by RissaComment: Normally they say not to use centered composition but how could you not with a shot like this. Very well done and post processed. I am still wondering how you eliminated the cage its kept in without seeing it in the foregroung. Please let us know the technique or where you inside the cage for the shot. |

Flower girlby pitsamanComment: Challenge: 10 This is what you call a portrait with natural setting. Better than a studio
Composition: 10 I love how you used the flowers to contrast her. of centered to the right gives the rule of thirds a 10
Technical: 10 The image is very sharp and I think not going for a soft focus really makes this shot good as you are trying to show the flowers along with her.
Creativity: 10 I like the set up of using the flowers against her natural tonal skin
Overall: 10 Well done
I hope this ribbons. Good Luch oh and she is beautiful. |

A poet and a one man bandby strangeghostComment: Challenge: 10 meets my requirments or person or people
Compostion: 10 I love the way you filled the frame. The left side orientation adds to the right side with the use of the trumpet
Technical: 10 Very sharp and the colors are just delightful. I can see the various tonal shadows of the brass. A color very hard to show in digital photographs.
Creativity: 10
Overall: 10 |

Coupleby photogenixComment: Challenge: 10 the requirments have been met
Composition: 5 a better angle would brought the people out from behind the tree
Technical: 5 The shot seems out of focus or maybe due to the fact that the focus is one the tree rather than the people.
Creativity: 5 Just no wow or photo doesnt pop
Overall: 6 |
