I would have never thought of using timed exposure for a shot like this. You learn something new everyday at DPC. Well done on your red ribbon.

Da,m the basic editing restrictions: a simple graduated Nd filter could bring that sky more into line with the rest of the shot, and the equivalent in 'shop is forbidden. This is good work: I'm not wholly sold on your composition - specifically the partial includion of that foreground-most rock image right. But the light is gorgeous, and well caught.

Great light, texture and use of slow shutter to create an evocative photo.

For this to work as well as it ought to, the middle-ground rocks need to be tack-sharp to contrast witht he ghost water. The tonal;ities of sky and water are beautiful, the overall color is lovely.

wonderful image, you kept the ragged rocks sharp while giving the water a nice soft feel. Great use of lighting (sunrise?) and best of all you stayed away from the typical submission idea. You are one of the few in this challenge that shows yourself as a professional (or at least very advanced hobbiest). Good job.

The mist rolling over the water, the way the rock line juts into the sky, the difference in light from back to front....I love it all! A truly wonderful photo. Makes me miss the ocean :-)

I like this, the rocks seem too orange, but you tell it's at sunset, so it could well be that and not done in ps. The sky and water are mystical. well done...9

beautiful location, well composed, colors good. Seems like its stuck in this moment - no movement. Can't even think of how you would change that or if you'd even want to. 9 from me.

Great perspective and overall composition, but there is an element of sharpness that is missing from this image. I'd like to better percieve the rock's texture.
