Humble Homesteadby RebeccaComment: Greetings from your own critique club.
First Impression
Very Nice shot with perspective.
Composition:
Don't like the centered composition. It takes away all the credit IMO of the great shot. I would have prefered this with following rule of third with the same camera angle. Some more room on the left side to achieve the same.
Subject:
Very nice, perfect for the challenge
Technical (Colour and light):
Very nice. Jusr one thing, don't like the red tone in the cloud.
Improvement:
Different Coposition.
Summary:
Nice take on the challenge. Over all very nice image. Different perpective works very well.
Cheers!! Keep shooting. |

Here Comes the Sunby RebeccaComment: Greetings from your own critique club.
First Impression
Very Nice cloud shot.
Composition:
Someone gave me a tip that the horizon should be on third for this kind of images. I found the tip very useful, try it and let me know if you found it useful too.
Subject:
Very nice. I always like the sunrise/sunset pictures with coulds.
Technical (Colour and light):
The exposure is bit tricky here. The right most is bit dark, but if you try to increase the exposure some area will be blown out. Try using exposure lock for this kind of pictures.
Improvement:
Horizon at third, and exposure to give details on the right side.
Summary:
Really like the image as is, but may score even higher with bit improvement IMO.
Cheers!! Keep shooting. |

The Rematchby RebeccaComment: Greetings from your own critique club. Sorry, I was off the hook for a while.
First Impression
Very Nice shot. Much better than the original one. Good improvement and that was the idea of the challenge.
Composition:
Better Composition than the original. I would like to see more of Pooh.
Subject:
Subject may not be of interest to many voters IMO. That may be one reason for low score. But this challenge had different purpose. You are at disadvantage as voters don't really recall the original to compare the improvement.
Technical (Colour and light):
Very nice. Really like the Black BG.
Improvement:
Different agnle to include more of Pooh.
Summary:
Over all lots of improvement compare to take I.
Cheers!! Keep shooting. |

Memoriesby OddfrogComment: Greetings from your own critique club.
First Impression
Not an ordinary "Still Life", but nice shot.
Composition:
Good Composition.
Subject:
Not usual but really nice
Technical (Colour and light):
Very good focus and color. Lighting needs bit improvement IMO. How about another light source to lit the BG and the table. Or may be step up the exposure a bit with the same light source.
Improvement:
Lighting.
Summary:
Out of the box for "Still Life", still meets the challenge. Bit enhanced in PP or different exposure or another light source would have helped scoere better.
Cheers!! Keep shooting. |

Jackpot!!by OddfrogComment: Greetings from your own critique club. Sorry, I was off the hook for a while.
First Impression
Nice idea, not so good execution.
Composition:
Needs improvement. Instead of shooting from top, I will sit down and just shoot the Ant. It's not required to have whole bread in the frame. Just the close up of Ant with bread in the back ground would have worked better.
Subject:
Subject is creative and fits the challenge.
Technical (Colour and light):
Lighting is bit harse on top of the bread. Colors are fine. Don't like the shadow of Ant and Bread.
Improvement:
Composition, Comosition, Composition...
Summary:
Good creative idea, needs better perspective and composition.
Cheers!! Keep shooting. |

Virtudes Angelicalesby yankoComment: Greetings from your own critique club.
First Impression
Very Nice shot.
Composition:
Very good composition.
Subject:
I really like the subject. Nice take on the challenge.
Technical (Colour and light):
Colors are so wonderful. Green and purple in the BG goes very well.
Improvement:
Only thing I can think of is the blown highlights on the face. The face is not looking very clear. It's either OOF or blown out.
Summary:
Over all very nice.
Congratulations on your top 10 placement. |

Summary:
Over all very nice porcessing and image.

Very Nice shot. It's been done is past, but I personally don't care. On this one, you did actually better than some of other similar previous entries.
Composition:
IMO, the composition is the key here. It forces the viewer attention on every corner of the photo.
Subject:
Very nice, perfect for the challenge
Technical (Colour and light):
I really like the duotone on this. Nice hint of green and lighting is spot on.
Improvement:
Can't think of any.
