Strawberry and Heavy Cremeby idnicComment: Nooooo! Not another 'splash' shot! ;^) Well, ok. Since you did it so nicely I guess I can let it slide. He-he. Let's see, you have a well focused strawberry, ROT composition, mostly 'frozen' milk splash, with good exposure. Should do just fine with this one. |

Garden Thiefby DianaComment: Uh-oh. Fun to look at but you're going to get some big hits on meeting the challenge by stopping the motion and no motion blur trails, etc... I like the placement of the deer in the frame, that's good standard composition for a moving subject to leave space in front. Exposure is good. Good luck in the challenge. |

Hawk Attackby MarjoComment: Hey. Pretty good capture. I like the color tone used to minimize the sky blowout. The diagonal that the hawk is coming in at adds some nice drama to the photo. This should do pretty well for you. Did I already say nice catch?! ;^) Good luck. |

Jump!by justamistereComment: Interesting to look at. I like the kicked up sand being "frozen"...that works for 'Stopped Motion'. ;^) On the down side, the image seems a little flat like it needs a shot of contrast, and maybe a small boost in color saturation. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Displaced explosionby KHoltComment: For some reason, from the thumbnail view, I thought the sphere was a bullet point. Now, as to how you did this...hmmm. Double exposure? Will be interested to see in your comments. You did list comments didn't you? ;^)
Very creative. Nice stopped motion. Should do well with this. I'd say "Good luck", but I don't think you need it. He-he. |

Splashby oOWonderBreadOoComment: This is strange. The girl being in B/W and then having a blue background - feels unnatural. You did a great job catching the water droplets - very clean and crisp. Anyway, that's my two cents. ;^) Good luck. |

drop itby garlicComment: I'd like to see the bottom of the glass to believe it. ;^) Interesting bokeh in the background - very defined instead of circular. Curious as to your lens... Concerning 'Stopped Motion', the theme of this challenge, you've stopped the motion just fine as far as the water and straw go - really think you should have let the whole thing go (seriously this time). A little cropping off the right side might have added to the dynamic of this image. Good luck in the challenge. |

The Testby fatLouieComment: My goodness. Three people to track your progress for a motorcycle license nowadays?! That Nighthawk is a decent bike...almost bought one of those years ago. Went with a KZ 550 instead. ;^)
Anyway...about your image. It's fine. You've done a good job of stopping the motion quite well as is evident by the tires and spokes. One of the better true "Stopped Motions" in the challenge thus far in my viewing. The content of the image is ok. Not anything really exciting or super unique here that is going to wow the voters. Nothing personal, just an observation. The technicals are fine. The subjects are placed strategically, not too much distraction in the background, exposure is good (the white on the wht/grn shirt is close to being over), image is sharp and noise free. Did you play with this in B/W just to see how it looked? Just a thought.
Good luck in the challenge, and tell your friend on the bike (if it's someone you know) to drive careful! ;^) |

Off to the Nextby banmornComment: Hey! That's nice and sharp. Good job of stopping the motion - mostly. Is that an air conditioning unit in the background? Doesn't matter...just taking a guess. ;^) Best of luck to you in the challenge. |
