A Brother's Loveby SnapperLComment: This is a great shot. Seems very natural, and not posed, like many of the images in this challenge. A photograph which I'm sure is already hanging on the wall, and will be a family heirloom. Nice lighting, good contrast, and very warm composition, which conveys true 'togetherness'. I expect this image will do well in this challenge. Good luck <8> |

So Sad...by bruskiComment: Reminds very much of my Grand-daughter. Crocadile Tears. A very real emotion (mood) for them, but not nearly as serious as it really is. Nice image, and nice idea. An image, I'm sure will be in someone's 'baby-book'. <5> |

mixed emotionsby messerschmittComment: Interesting idea. Capturing mulitple moods (emotions) in one image. I'm seeing joy and boredom. There's a lot going on in this image, with the flowers in the forground, and the trees and sky in the background, which distract slightly from the moods trying to be captured. A great idea, but not the strongest overall image. <5> |

Sadnessby roadrunnerComment: This is clearly one of my favorite images of the challenge. I love the detail and texture in the vail. There appears to be detail in the eyes behind the vail as well. I'm slightly distracted by the print on the detail which covers her right cheek. But the overall image is one I enjoy viewing. <7> |

Don't Leave Daddyby ericsuthComment: This is one of my favor images of this challenge. For one, it is real, and not posed. I love the out-of-focus stuff in the forground that gives the veiwer the feeling of seeing this private moment from a distance. This is a wonderful shot, and should do very well. <9> |

Hopelessnessby JordanZComment: I love the over blue colors in this image. I think however, this would have been a much stronger image, had the bottles, and the pills been photographed on a bedroom stand or a coffee table, rather than set up as a still life. This to me would have been a much stronger suggestion of a mood or emotion. This, as it is arranged, really looks more like an advertisement type of image. <5> |

Despairby naomikComment: Nice image. I think the B&W does it justice. Great detail. Without the title, I would have been close about the mood you suggest. As I view this image, I wonder if the haircut, has anything to do with this person's 'despair'. Nice Image <6> |

ecstasyby ursulaComment: Nice image. The title seems to be a bit mis-leading to me. I would have guessed speed, or travel. For some reason, in mind I would have pictured this same kind of thing in a Vertical format for excitement or "Ecstasy". That's just me. I do enjoy the images with out people, in an effort to capture a mood. This has some wonderful colors and a sense of action. I would love to hear more about how this was taken. Good luck. <7> |
