I like this abstract approach very much, although it evokes a mood more than it captures one, IMO.

Straight from the mind of old Ebeneezer Goode : )
Love it. Captures the bright colours and the rush that the feeling of ecstasy can bring. No drugs required.

Just a flippin' beautiful abstract, and enough said. My favorite of the challenge!

I like it, very artistic & nice to look at. I hope it does well, but I get the feeling most people at DPC don't like abstract. [9]

Hm... Interesting shots. Awesome colors in the trails and visually appealing.

I don't think your picture indicates ecstasy, unless you've been taking it. Focus more clearly on something and try again.

IMO, the challenge was meant to give you a chance to evoke a mood from a subject, not induce a mood in the viewer. This, to me, does the latter (or tries to). That's not to take away from a great abstract photograph, but it just doesn't work this time.

I like this abstract very much, the lens flare works well and it's a pleasing composition with great colours.

Possibly a little too abstract for the average DPC voter, but I love the colours, and the idea is great.

I would have liked round apetures (highlights) but heck, it's an abstract, so there are no rules! 7

Hey now, this would be a good entry for the Dreams challenge. It just doesn't convey ecstasy to me. Yet it's a great abstract.

Really smart shot. Huge print, block mounted in an East End bar - this was made for it. What a delightfully offset, abstract photo.

Nice image. The title seems to be a bit mis-leading to me. I would have guessed speed, or travel. For some reason, in mind I would have pictured this same kind of thing in a Vertical format for excitement or "Ecstasy". That's just me. I do enjoy the images with out people, in an effort to capture a mood. This has some wonderful colors and a sense of action. I would love to hear more about how this was taken. Good luck. <7>
