Beta Testby soupComment: Beautiful color and contrast. Your glass stem is perfectly in focus but not the betta and parts of the glass like the bottom. Perhaps it may look sharper overall with a smaller f-stop/ less macro effect? There is also a distracting line in the right side of the rim that could have been cloned out. But I'm just being nit-picky because I really like this image so much. 9 |

Under a Dandelion Sunby rblantonComment: This is really nice! There are several dandelion shots in this challenge, this one best I think. Really nice Bokeh, excellent focus, composition, and repeting forms and texture. Nice warm color. 10 |

Entrappedby karmatComment: This is really interesting but I am struggling to understand what I'm looking at. A bent over dandelion? Perhaps a little less contrast? Otherwise lovely! |

Moon Over Mountainsby SammieComment: Nice capture! I know how hard it is to get a shot of the moon so that the light area does not overwhelm the dark, or the dark all but invisible., but you managed to catch even some of the 'facial features'. Any special techniques? |

Goldieby christie3Comment: I;m sure you've already been told this is not a silhouette. I would not even qualify as rim-light I'm sure. She's a lovely creature tho.
Also the thing in the lower right forground is distracting. Keep at it!! :) |

Silhouettes: Lights, Nature VS Manby mpembertonComment: Do you reallize this is an unusual weather effect called a sun pillar? It requires a certain shape of ice crystals in the atmosphere to reflect the light, right amount, right altitudes, right time... I've noticed that a few sunset shots in this challenge have them to varying degrees. Amazing that this was occuring for several people at about the same time.
As for the photo, I would like to see the horizon, it seems cut off. You coulde probably bump up the contrast and saturation some to give it more color and increase the effect of the pillar. Hope that helps, good luck! :) |

Untitledby WildpurpleComment: This color and contrast are really nice but I want to see more. A macro about 50% tighter, at least, would be sweet. |
