ME MYSELF & I'M WEIRDby fotodudeComment: Returning for comment. A unique take - I like how you've gone with three different facial expressions. Unfortunately, one of the fades left too much ear on the main pose which distracts and detracts. Overall, a nice shot. |

Long Exposureby RgarciaComment: Returning for comment. Interesting idea. It seems your intent was to disguise your face; perhaps using different lighting and a tighter crop would have helped. You should feel good about taking a risk. |

Ready to get my groove on.by PedroComment: Hey - is this Pedro? Ha! I'm giving you a 10 despite your shameless self-promotion. Good lighting, interesting composition, visually appealing facial expression, and humorous to boot. I'm hooked, you win, good job! |

Living in the land of shadowsby garlicComment: Returning for comment. I'm not sure what you are leaning against...am finding it distracting. Good capture of facial expression. |

Through the looking glassby jeffzoetComment: Returning for comment. You had a good idea, but overall this image is just not at visually appealing as some of the other submissions to my eye. I can see...something, just not sure what. On the plus side - you took a risk and that's great! |

madby mrsamsaComment: Returning for comment. A bit too abstract for my personal taste, but I like that you thought creatively. |

Say Cheeseby dwolffComment: Not sure what you were going for here creatively. Obviously a reflection, there is a distracting line through the center of the shot. Most of the other submissions featured a facial expression that was definitely a smile, or definitely not a smile and that approach might have helped improve this image. Including the camera in the final product gives this shot more of a "snapshot" feel and will not help the final score. The background is visually uninteresting and the clothing sort of blends in with it. It was great that you actually included your face. Unfortunately, I just wasn't able to give this a very good score. |

The joys in life are so simple.by tolovemoonComment: This shot would have worked better if the candle on the piano wasn't dead center. Because it is so light against the rest of the frame, it becomes the focal point and throws off the overall composition. Overall, the shot is very dark. Concept is decent, technique could be better. |
