 Dont worry, I´m not describing the state of my own mind. Just found it a good title and fitting the mood of the image. Besides I live in Iceland which is the land of darkness and shadows in the winter.

Editing:
Levels - grayscale conversion through the green chanel - dodging of the eyes and healing brush on a scrach on the nose - overlay layer - luminosity layer with a litle gaussian blurr - noise filtering

Virkilega flott lýsing.. Ég held að myndin hefði komið betur út án þess að hafa vegginn á vinstri hönd. Þessir hvítu flekkir skera of mikið..
Notaðaru vasaljós fyrir lýsinguna?
Samt finnst mér þetta vera flott mynd og dálítið gáttaður á því að hún ahfi ekki farið yfir 6.
En hvað veit ég;)

The eyes get your attention and keep it. Excellent job. I think the stuff on the left is unnecessary and could be cropped, but the attention on the face is so strong that I can't complain :).
