This is just some classic work - reminiscent of fine art and really truly super good. The pose is excellent, the pattern in the background is supporting but not detracting from the focal point - this is really excellent stuff here. I love the softness in the processing - the lighting is really really good - I really just love this overall. I'm not sure what the black thing in the mouth is, but it's getting lost in the background thus confusing whatever it's purpose was. Good try with the composition...somehow, tho, it's just not grabbing me. The negative space kind of just thunks the viewers eye, and I'm not sure what you intended to convey with it.

It seems like you could have done a lot more with this idea. It's a fairly uninteresting perspective that lacks drama. There were some great colors in the masks, yet they aren't shown off to advantage with the black background. I suspect your title is reflective of your state of mind rather than being descriptive of the shot. Better luck next time.

This is just a simply stunning shot, and I'd be really surprised if it didn't win. Excellent use of interesting subject matter, meets the challenge spot-on, excellent use of toning/color - lots and lots of visual interest. I hope you have this framed and in your house somewhere and in a spot of honor. Really really nice work here; I just don't have enough praise.
