As Upon a Tableby banmornComment: Very nice. Great choice of crop and use of mirror and back drop with framed elements on the right and left. is this an optical illusion as well? The stems look tilted, but I imagine they are straight.

Mocha Javaby craigesterComment: Caffeine much? - Excellent choice to motion blur the hands and use of two coffee cups! The image speaks for itself. Great coloration and sharpness. Bit distracting in the apron vs shirt/blouse, but does nto detract from image.
High marks! |

Pencilby royalsipe1Comment: Nice use of DOF. Lighting is inadequate: shutter should have been open longer to help eliminate noise in the oof range. Nice composition. |

Make a Joyful Noiseby PlanetMakerComment: Distortion of moon is distracting. Rest of image is pretty darn cool looking. Phenomenal lighting work on the figurine! |

The ups and downs of my diaryby SirRaduComment: Very murky shadows. Flat subject, lots of noise. Items that are included with the diary are confusing. Subject itself appears out of focus. Perhaps would have worked better to have the diary open and propped up slightly to show a page of scribbled writings. Would have been much more dynamic on a lighter colored backdrop or table. one, not both. |

Welcome to my tableby ShutterPugComment: Low light, tough to do this with a lot of strobes or overhead lighting I know. Good crop, bit awkward placement of feet. A great concept hurt by lack of light and pose.
Much, much more light. Relaxed pose, feet together - this concept would make an EXCELLENT stock photo. |

Pens, Dog, Bobbleheadby elemessComment: In b/w: Comes off as a very nice vignette. Good choice of collection and setup. Great use of long exposure to bobble Mr. Lee. Lighting is a bit un-dynamic, but tonality makes up for a lot of what the lighting takes away.
Great Job. Nice finesse. |

UPDATE,UPDATE,UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!by fordmanf1Comment: Nice use of long exposure and great job of keeping the rest of the hand motionless. Too centered in what comes off as negative space. Perhaps a different angle on the spot lighting to show off a bit more of the surface as well.
Great detail. |

Kettle on Kook top in Kitchenby TCGuruComment: MurKy shadows. Seems slightly asKew and somewhat noisy. The dark cook top needs a bit more light and a closer crop to accentuate the reflections of the rest of the kitchen would have added greatly to the impact on this image.
Title humor falls flat, giving the appearance that the artist did not know how to spell cook instead of the tongue in cheek that was intended. Could be due to the unintended rewording to KOOK. |

The Yoga Frogby emily212Comment: An interesting take on the challenge - nice use of table and wall to create a division of thirds. Image is hurt by lack of contrast which gives it a hazy feel, perhaps oversharpened. |
