| the tones make this shot for me -- I think I'd like a little more crispness (not totally sharp as the overall mood is softer) -- one of my favorites this challenge |

| Very murky shadows. Flat subject, lots of noise. Items that are included with the diary are confusing. Subject itself appears out of focus. Perhaps would have worked better to have the diary open and propped up slightly to show a page of scribbled writings. Would have been much more dynamic on a lighter colored backdrop or table. one, not both. |
