Summer Pleasureby JectoComment: sunsets rarely translate to photographs as vividy as they appeared. the trick is to put something visually interesting in the forground which you have done. My guess is that you will lose points because there are sooo many sunsets in the challenge. |

Country life linesby suemackComment: This sky is truely gorgeous. Sunsets rarely translate to photographs as vividy as they appeared but this one does. the trick is to put something visually interesting in the forground. your sunset is lovely but the trees and telephone poles silouetted are not. my guess is that your photo will be marked down for subject matter of the silouette and not technical aspects. |

LaCamas Lakeby ace flymanComment: oh so close to spectacular - too bad you couldnt get his whole body against the sky or the water. it loses impact where the treeline cuts him in half. the lines are great - the curve of the fish line continues into the curve of his body, the straight vertical reflections of the trees and horizontal waves - the every which way grasses. |

Dusk over the Cityby TallblokeComment: oooh gorgeous! there is a slight tilt to the right, i think. you'd be surprised how a bit of tilt can influence a viewer. it is unsettling and even if it goes unnoticed thes is an uneasy impression that something is "wrong". Do you know the measure tool trick in photoshop? Its under the eyedropper - draw a line along a visual that should appear straight (here the center tower and its reflection) then choose rotate canvas arbitrary. If i rotate our tower .32 degrees clockwise it looks better to me. |
