This is a good portrait, but he's very far from looking nasty. He's almost smiling in the corners of the lips.

I love everything except for the pill... I understand that's what the photo is about, but it stands out, perhaps it should have been a different color? Would be curious to see the whole portrait in this execution style.

To Pay More Attention To The Dog

Although very much a cliche, it's a nice portrait, one of my favorite kinds of dogs. You might want to try again, making sure the focus is on the eyes, not between the eyes and the tip of the nose.

It's a New Year, Setting My Sails for Anything
by JEFFJSB

Comment:
Imo, a horizontal shot would be e alot more dynamic here, speaking of setting sails that is important. As it is, it's a good quality picture, but it's more of a portrait of a boat, rather than something conveying energy and thrill of new things.

Not To Be So Depressive3rd Place

Nice picture, but i wouldn't think of depression had i not seen the title... Composition-wise, i would move the camera slightly to the left. The lady should be the center [not literally in the center] of the composition, and she is not.

Kick the Habit

This is the best 'kick the smokes' shot. Maybe i would add a little more space on the left. Btw, if you don't want the smokes, send them my way =)

Walk the dog!!

Comment:
Don't think selective desaturation works here, makes it too cheesy. Otherwise it's a very good shot of a pretty smart looking dog. The only thing i would add is a little more space on the right and on top.
