Wildflowers and Treesby DannyMComment: I think you had a nice idea for a photo here, I like the foreground and the range of colors from the reds, to greens to the blues of the sky. In my opinion though, it's hurt by the time of day you chose to shoot this. The lighting is a bit harsh and flat. Looks like it was taken around mid-day. I think if you shot this scene closer to sunset or sunrise, it would make a dramatic difference. |

Days Gone Byby L1Comment: I'd easily have given this a 9 or 10. Don't worry about a ribbon, who cares? You've created a photo that most people would dream of capturing someday, that's the real joy. |

Natural Cathedralby charliebakerComment: Beautiful composition. I like the effect the processing had at the top of the trees, not wild about what happened along the ground. Nice dof. |

Under the rainbowby LalliSigComment: A nice photo with nice use of scale and shutter speed. I think it would have been helped with a larger foreground. |

Death at the Lakeby sherComment: Awesome photo, definitely unique and a great choice using that tone. Having not seen any other angles to this shot, I don' t know if they'd be better but they'd be worth seeing. Shooting straight down like this is okay but I wonder if there'd be something even more interesting. Solid 8, might bump up later. |

T H E L O O Kby librodoComment: Manny, this photo along with most of your others could stand up to the best portrait photographers in the world. You really need to be published and get some recognition. I want an advanced copy of your future book. |

A Portrait of An Artist by librodoComment: I can not find a single thing to change. This smacks of Librodo, but if you are not him, accept my apologies and take it as the highest compliment I can give.
There is so much to tempt the eye here it's amazing. Perfect 10. |

Breeze by PhilosComment: A great, expressive shot and sure to do well. This is the first time I won't openly say this is Librodo because there is one other shot in this challenge that is good enough to be his.
Some nit-picks for what they are worth: I get the sense that this photo may have been over-sharpened a bit. The eyes may have been whitened just a tad too much as well. If not, they are the whitest eyes in the world.
Aside from that? Love it. The color and textures of the shawl are beautiful, as is the strand of hair over the face. Fantastic job. |
