Poppy foreverby pcodyComment: Wonderful view of a poppy. I love the lighting and the way you have layered the petals. Only point that I might discuss would be to show less of the center (forget what that's called). All I would need to see is the very edge to help identify the subject and then just let the user flow up through the layered petals. |

The Brideby albeckComment: I wish I could see more of her eyes, but the composition and color work very well. |

Small Kite, Tall Grassby lagavulinComment: I like the way the kite is highlighted and framed, but I would like to have seen a little more light on the woman's face. |

Canon vs. Nikon !by mgkarimiComment: Is that an FM2n? I could almost consider a 10 just for showing a real (manual) camera. For the sake of discussion, I think the point where the eye meets the camera should be the point of focus. I would have place that point in the top left interesction of thirds (rule of thirds of golden rule). This would have cropped of hair and maybe ear, but the person to camera to unseen subject might have been stronger. Still a nice shot, so don't take the discussion as negative. |

Stormy Skies and Sunset Glowby mocabelaComment: I love the lighting on this one, but I think the composition could have been a little more dynamic. The swingset merged with the tree is also a very slight problem. Not critical errors but just something to think about. |

Every line has a storyby jmritzComment: Bravo! I see so many photographs where the photographer has smooth out those lines and made the subject into something they are not.. usually at the subject's request. Beautiful face, excellent exposure, and wonderful composition. I wouldn't change a thing... you nailed this one. I cannot wait to see the rest of the portfolio from this photographer. |

Lazing Aroundby woodenshoe50Comment: Interesting shot..
I think you could have moved the subject out of the center of the frame in order to make this a little more dynamic. Movement to the left would probably have been best so the panda was looking into the frame.
I also don't don't think you leveraged Deep DOF as part of the composition. The foliage in front is in focus and it does help to frame the panda, but it's not a key element of the composition. |

Allow me to introduce my friend...by StevePaxComment: It made me smile, which will help the score.
The lighting appears to come straight from the front, which isn't complentary for the model or the banana. Some more dramatic lighting might have helped! Maybe some soft if the relation between these friends is more than casual. |
