I am looking to buy a new Digital Camera and wanted to get your professioanl opinion of either the Nikon D200 or the Canon EOS 5D.
I know that the processor is the most important, but what is the Advantage and or disadvantage of either of these Models. What I know is the Canon does have 12.8 MegaPixel and is Full Frame and is suppose to have a better Chip, but I've seen some really nice Colorful Macro Shots with the Nikon D200.

Ultimately, my goal is to incorporate My digital Photos with Digitally Designed Art and enlarge on a LightJet (Requires 150dpi at final size for optimal printing - apparent 4,000dpi)at sizes up to 4'x8'.

Any suggestions on these Cameras or others you might recommed with any info on lenses as well?

Thanks,

Trace

Are you shooting with a canon, and that's why there is a conflict? I don't get it. I like the composition, too bad about clipping the edge of the camera lens. Nice pose.

A very nice model with a classic camera - but I don't get the title or anything really extraordinary, sorry.

Is that an FM2n? I could almost consider a 10 just for showing a real (manual) camera. For the sake of discussion, I think the point where the eye meets the camera should be the point of focus. I would have place that point in the top left interesction of thirds (rule of thirds of golden rule). This would have cropped of hair and maybe ear, but the person to camera to unseen subject might have been stronger. Still a nice shot, so don't take the discussion as negative.

Ancient vs modern! That film-using instrument is much older than the user, I'd guess.

Including the lens in the frame would have improved the composition.

With a cute girl like that shooting Nikon, who'd want to go Canon? Seriously though, a solid capture. I especially like the expression on her face. It's subtle, but interesting. I do somewhat wish that last bit of the lens weren't cut off at the right (although the camera being chopped at the top doesn't bug me at all). Nice work.
