Out of the black and into the light.by kiwinessComment: very nice--i love the toning first off--and secondly, bringing the iron fence in from the corner is perfect. the only thing that i have a question about--and im sure you would have tried it if you could--but i wonder what it would have looked like fromt he other side of the rail--with the water as the central *path* ? i really love the contrasts of the buildings--and the lines dividing the stones and water, leading to the beautiful ghostly building in the center--so this is really just more out of curiosity! great work! :) |

Primary Oak by TarbiniComment: something about this really gets me! at first i thought the tree was too centered--but the more i look, the more i love it! the rolling hill in the background, the contrast of tree against the green--the natural line of the creek or ditch--i love it! the only thing i might have attempted differently is to adjust the green and blue levels to bring out the sky a little more, but that is just me! great work! |

Cloudlife by xertionComment: one of my top pics--gorgeous lines, leading to a beautiful sky! i love the contrasts of greys and blue. my only wish is that you could have somehow been able to get higher to crop out the bottom left and right of the frame (walls and doors) to make the lines flow more smoothly, but no big deal. i also really like the curvy reflections running down the left side--great capture! |

Welcomeby greenem2Comment: beautiful photo--one of my top pics this challenge! the only reason it scored a 9 instead of 10 was that i wanted just a tad more contrast, and i couldnt figure out the bizarre symbols/squiggles to the left of the doorframe--but not important! gorgeous depth to this picture. great work! |

i loved this photo for the surrealism--incredibly imaginitive-- i feel like i am looking into one of dali's dreams! the look on your face reaching for the door in the floor is fantastic. this pic should have placed! |
