I don't quite get it, but it looks pretty cool. Whatever technique you employed here should do killer in the Breaking New Ground challenge!

My first thought was that it doesn't really relate to the title, but I guess you're referring to the delicacy of the wings - it's a stretch, but I'll go with it : ) Techically, it seems a little out of focus. Great colors, though!

Great idea, but it lacks the "Wow" factor - the flat sky doesn't do much for the colors of the umbrella, and the little bit of bramble in the corner is more bothersome than helpful. You definitely need something there to emphasize the lift of the umbrella from the ground, but that isn't doing it. I really like the idea, though, so I'm giving a 6.

A very clever idea - never saw the movie, but it's about an imaginary rabbit, right? Unfortunately, I think the fuzzy edges of the shadow makes it seem like the rabbit is sitting way closer to the camera than the human, which I guess you had to, in order to make cast such a large shadow? I'll stop rambling now. To recap: Great idea, nice execution, just a minor quibble.

black & white was a great choice - the horizon seems tilted, which is a bit bothersome, but otherwise it's a beautiful picture.

Great movie! Parker Posey is just not in enough films, in think. Very cool effect with the lighting, and the shades. Great idea!

I like the verticals, and it doesn't bother me that "waldo" isn't hidden that much. But the focus is off, and the colors are kind of blah. The effect is almost like a screen capture from a 70's tv show, or something.

Great b/w. The focus seems a little soft, which may be intentional? but imo it's a little bothersome not being able to focus clearly on the model's face. But points for quoting Frost!
