Downtown Dinerby L1Comment: I think this picture should have done much better...people missed the point.
It shows the 'naked' side of neon, when it's less striking.
Anyway, good work! |

Mirrored Hopeby ddngComment: I hope to comment on this later...quick version:
Focus is too soft for my taste
Composition seems unplanned (stick in middle at top, reflection of subject is cut off)
I don't really see hope in this picture. |

He loves me, he loves me not...by dwterryComment: Nice...the pattern on her shirt keeps distracting me from the important things (her face, the flowers/petals, her hair)...Different shirt would have earned this a 7...
Good work! |

Slow Down!by soupComment: I love the name of this shot, assuming I haven't missed the point.
It seems as if the flowers are shouting at the hummingbird...am I reading too much into this?
Either way, I really like this photograph! |

Downtown Dinerby L1Comment: I'm not sure why, but this picture makes me think of Pittsburgh. So it's definately an evocative shot, making me think of a chilly Saturday morning in the city.
Some people might not like the cropping, but I personally like it, and I like the fact that all brightness and vividness has been removed from the neon by taking the shot during the day. I like this one. |

A Pawn's Pawnby joebokComment: Excellent! Perfect depth of field...I just wish the colour was a little less yellow on the mini-pawn. Great title!
Even the placement of the mini-pawn on the square is perfect...It almost looks to be hiding a little... |

Minor Horse Powerby BeagleboyComment: I love this one...It will get the first and only 9 I've given anybody in this challenge. A ribbon, I'm sure!
The depth of field, tones and lighting are perfect in my opinion. The composition is great, though I might have moved the model car up a bit provided that the hose on the real car could be removed.
Good work! |

Crossing The Lineby bongoComment: You get my first 8! A great example of a shot that meets the challenge perfectly!
The shot itself is beautifully framed, lit and focused...I predict a top ten for you, if not a ribbon. |
