Contemplationby JayWalkComment: NO, not to dark! I think the dark tone works well and complements the emotive value of the image. Great Work!

Yellowby RikkiComment: I think the picture has nice colors and i like the black background. However I believe the angle that you took the picture takes away from the photograph. If the flower would of been on a plane tilted more toward the camera it would of given us a better composition of the subject. The focus seems to be a bit soft but not bad. I hope this helps. |

Butterfly Orgyby SJCarterComment: Very nice colors and a good capture. This image seems to be a bit busy to me. I can't put my finger on what is distracting me but it seems like a glow or so neat image. Not sure.
Still a good image but the focal point seems busy and doesn't hold my attention.

Trappedby jmleliiComment: Hi-I think the lighting is as close to perfect as one can get (IMO). The pose is very flattering and I like the B&W. But I do have to agree with the wrinkles in the background and under the arm do catch my attention while viewing the photograph. Slightly distracting but not enough to effect the photograph to a degree that is has to be fixed.
With the above said I would have to say you done a great job. The model should be happy.

After the Stormby Buckeye_FanComment: I have to agree with rex the sky looks out of place. Did you use PS and the highlight/shadow function. I know when I use it sometimes I get this type of look.
It's a very nice photograph and one worthy of keeping. I would try a re-edit. I love the green field/grass with the bright red barn house against the golden clouds on the blue sky.
Could you post the original unedited version? I would love to see what it looks like.

Smiling Dragonflyby kenskidComment: Nice capture. The only thing I would of liked to of seen would be a deeper DOF to pull the wings into focus. Other than that Great Job! |
