Cool shot but this might be just a little to dark to make it to a newspaper. I like the way the sun is flaring in the corner but where its at gives you little light to work with. The term Great Season (and it is a good title), I think of Bright future, I might have shot this mid morning where all the crop just really pops out at the viewer.

Way too busy for me...too much white in the center of the picture, I seem to get lost. Marinas are very hard to shoot, I try all the time here in San Diego and I meet with the same results. The pack a lot of really cool boats in a small area. Maybe try a different angle and I might have tried this from a little further back. Not try capture so many boats but more detail of just a few.

This is a cool composition. IMO the shot would have been better if the sky wasn't so blown out and hazy. A little more detail of the chopper would have made this more interesting to me.
